Location is perfect, right across from the beach and park. The walls are thin, making it noisy at times. Rooms are clean and spacious, but the lack of air conditioning was a bit uncomfortable.

Fantastic location by the lake, steps from the beach and town. The room was lovely, with a poolside balcony and comfy beds. The heated pool and hot tub were a real treat for nighttime relaxation. staff seemed unfriendly from the start, which felt off-putting. A bathroom in the lobby would've been appreciated, especially since my room wasn't ready. The shower was functional but dated. Still, the family-friendly vibe and outdoor spaces made for enjoyable moments. Would consider returning despite the hiccups.

I had a fantastic experience soaking in the charming surroundings, as the hotel is just a short five-minute walk to Del Monte Beach and only ten minutes to the lively Old Fisherman's Wharf, making it so easy to explore local bars, restaurants, and enjoy breathtaking ocean views throughout my stay; the rooms were comfortable and clean, but it would be great if they were a bit more spacious.

The room was cute with a patio and fireplace. The check-in/out was fast. Great location, near the beach and park. Beautiful grounds, nice pool for kids.

Sadly, our whale watching tour was canceled due to weather, and the pool and hot tub were closed for renovations without warning. Bright room with weak water pressure.

The location is a dream, just steps from the beach and surrounded by gorgeous park views! The heated pool kept my son entertained while we enjoyed the beautiful gardens. The staff's local tips made our stay even more special-definitely some hidden gems we wouldn't have found on our own!

Positive interactions with staff; early check-in was appreciated. Clean room, enjoyed the hot tub and heated pool. the suite issue was a significant inconvenience. Door lock failure led to a room change. The substitute was not what I expected. Bathroom cleanliness needs serious attention. Stains, odors, and unwelcoming linens detracted from the experience. A longer walk to downtown might not suit everyone. Despite the charm, there's potential for improvement in cleanliness and communication about room types. Great value, but not without flaws.

The noise was unbearable-planes flying overhead and loud guests partying late. It totally disrupted our baby's sleep, and the thin walls made it feel like we were next to a bar!

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, allowing for restful nights. The room was spacious, featuring a full coffee pot, microwave, and mini-refrigerator. Unfortunately, the lack of air conditioning made the room feel muggy on warmer days. Noise from the outdoors occasionally interrupted the tranquility. I appreciated the welcoming staff, who quickly accommodated an early check-in. While the patio area was a lovely spot to unwind by the fire pit, a nearby guest's smoking disrupted the experience. the space was clean and well-maintained, but the presence of mold was concerning and should be addressed.

So, we recently stayed at Bay Lodge, and I wanted to share our experience. The room we had was clean and cozy, with a king-size bed that was really comfortable. We also appreciated the free toiletries provided, which were a nice touch. The patio was quite private, and we enjoyed spending time there with access to the pool. The heated pool and hot tub were a great bonus, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the area. there were a few things that could be improved. The room had no air conditioning, which made it a bit stuffy, especially during warmer days. the towels provided were on the smaller side and of poorer quality, which was a bit disappointing. On the bright side, the staff did a good job of keeping the rooms clean, and we found the proximity to the water and Dennis the Menace Park to be convenient for our outings. The hotel also had a big TV, which was nice for winding down in the evenings.

Had a decent time at this place over Easter. The location was great, near the paddle boats and a large park. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Convenient parking right outside the room made things easy. Overall, it was quite cozy, with a fireplace king room for a relaxing vibe.

staying at Bay Lodge was amazing! the staff made check-in a breeze and were so friendly. the designated parking spot was a huge plus, and the room had a quality feel with cute beachy decor. the fireplace in the room was a lovely touch, and being just a 5-minute walk to the beach made for a perfect birthday weekend. the hotel's location and relaxed vibe were wonderful, and we enjoyed using the garden, lounges, fire pits, and pool. the room was spacious, and the housekeeping was excellent. its proximity to the beach, park, and attractions like Cannery Row and the Aquarium was so convenient. we will definitely stay here again!
